Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Bypassr at bypassr.app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bypassr is a job search outreach platform that helps job seekers identify relevant employers, find decision-maker contacts, and send personalised outreach emails. The Service may connect to your Google Gmail account to send emails on your behalf.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Bypassr.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Gmail Integration

When you authorise Bypassr to access your Gmail account:

  • You grant us permission to send emails from your Gmail address only for outreach campaigns you explicitly initiate within Bypassr.
  • You grant us read access solely to detect replies to those outreach emails.
  • You may revoke Gmail access at any time from your Google Account settings or Bypassr settings page.
  • You are solely responsible for the content and legality of emails sent through the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bypassr to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or harass recipients.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Violate any applicable law, including anti-spam regulations (CASL, CAN-SPAM).
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract our data or algorithms.
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than your own personal job search.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, design, and content comprising Bypassr is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that outreach emails will result in job interviews or offers. Contact data sourced from third-party databases may be incomplete or out of date.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bypassr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any issues resulting from emails sent on your behalf.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@bypassr.app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Bypassr after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
